2021 is coming to an end today. It has been a tough year for most of us, not only for me personally as my dear cat Max almost went to cat heaven this autumn after our return to Taiwan at the end of May.
On the other hand, this happened only because despite all the restrictions due to the seemingly endless pandemic, I managed to come back to Asia, where I belong. Life in Europe isn’t for me, especially in a semi-communist country like Spain.
In the last six months of this year a couple of projects had to be abandoned or postponed almost indefinitely, but just another one came up and serious preparations have started.
Making money with my cooking skills will be another priority in 2022, although the focus will probably switch from Spanish tortilla to German meat balls, which apparently are more marketable.
The bad news is that despite my earlier announcements, I will be difficult to find enough time to post in this blog more regularly, especially as I shouldn’t neglect the cat novel that I started to write.
Nevertheless, I will try my best. It’s just that time flies and the older I get, the more I believe that’s true. On the other hand, to neglect this nice blog completely would be a shame, so it’s going to be quite a challenge to find the right balance…
